Situated on a picturesque point overlooking Lake Travis, Arrowhead is a weekend and holiday retreat that celebrates Mediterranean light, Central Texas character, and the effortless flow of indoor and outdoor living.

Set just above the floodplain, the residence was designed as a calm lakeside retreat shaped by light, air, and landscape. The house is oriented to capture warm breezes and long southern views, with a planted courtyard, arcaded walls, and terra cotta–toned columns that capture the movement of sunlight throughout the day.
The heart of the garden spills into the home. A southern-facing planted courtyard, dense with herbs and citrus, blurs the line between the cultivated landscape and the architecture itself. A plunge pool cools the space, while a barrel-vaulted loggia offers shade on warm Texas mornings. It’s a modern reinterpretation of Mediterranean respite tailored to the Hill Country climate.
Inside, the scale softens through arches, round columns, and divided-lite windows. Built-in nooks and window seats create places for rest and observation, while carefully framed views maintain a constant connection to the lake and surrounding landscape.

The same clarity carries through the baths. In the primary bath, a Waterworks Santry freestanding tub in white is paired with a Henry wall-mounted tub filler, creating a restrained, spa-like setting. The floral room features a Waterworks Clayburn farmhouse sink with a polished nickel Regulator bar faucet and Easton side spray, combining utility with subtle detail. In the guest bath, a custom Palmer Studio two-leg console supports a Waterworks Manchester lavatory sink, paired with a Henry widespread lavatory faucet with cross handles in nickel.
Throughout the home, materials and details feel familiar yet intentional. Spaces are grounded, light-filled, and consistently oriented toward the water and the shifting light beyond.
